In keeping with the series started in May, I’ll be spotlighting some awesome Christian authors I’ve met this year. Today I’d love to share more about Kristina Hall!
I fell in love with Kristina’s writing when I read her story in the Black Rose Anthology. Her novella, Black is the Rose, was a stunning reflection of trusting God in the midst of trials. I’ve just picked up Heart of Trust, and I’m getting much of the same foundation being laid, so I’m super excited to see the twists in this other novel.
Author Interview
What was it like for you to grow up as a Christian?
I grew up in a Christian home, and my parents taught me about Jesus and the Bible. I don’t remember exactly when I became a Christian and have struggled with doubt and assurance of salvation over the years. But God has been faithful to keep holding on to me through those times.
What’s the most important thing you’d want younger Christians to know about serving God?
1 Corinthians 15:58 comes to mind. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
As a Christian author, what is your goal with writing?
As a Christian author, my goal with my writing is to glorify God and provide my readers with encouraging, entertaining, exciting stories.
What is the most important godly message you share with your audience?
I strive to write relatable characters who go through hard times but rely on God and try to keep their eyes fixed on Him and glorify Him with their lives.
